About
I'm an independent thinker and sometime management consultant, writer, trainer.
I've spoken at many of the UK's leading universities on complexity, management, local government and related topics, including LSE, Roffey Park, Aston, INLOGOV and Warwick.
I keep an online scrapbook - a 'scrapblog' if you will, at
http://plexity.wordpress.com
I'm famous for my book 'Navigating Complexity: the essential guide to complexity theory in business and management'. It is now (wrongly) described as a cult work - it was the number one bestseller two years running for its publisher, The Industrial Society, a leading UK think-tank with a broad reach in the areas of work, business and employment in the UK and internationally. Unfortunately they were broken up and their publishing given to Capita, who shamefully neglected it. Grr. Due to reprint when I get round to it, and to be published by ICSE.
