About
I research ancient Egyptian royal genealogy and chronology. My main areas of publication have been in the Second Intermediate and, for the last decade, the Ptolemaic periods, with some branching out into Hellenistic and Roman calendrics. I have just completed a long study of the evolution of the Macedonian calendar in Egypt, published in 2011 as volume 52 in Studia Hellenistica. I am a visiting scholar in the History department at UCSD, which mostly means I have ILL privileges.
