About
As a scholar activist, I engage in research, presentation and publication in a variety of fields, connected by relationship to ecclesiology. Having taught at theological schools in Madagascar and the US, I now am primarily engaged in collaborative research with a large group of international scholars and pastors, many of whom have written or are to write for ecclesio.com. Besides ongoing work on ecclesio, forthcoming articles, chapters and presentations address race and culture in the church in the US; community inclusion for persons with psychiatric disabilities; definitions of church-sponsored development work in Madagascar; and the relationship of religion and revolution. I currently serve a large Presbyterian congregation in Kansas, and am always interested in adding to my network of dialogue partners, writers for ecclesio.com, and speakers on issues confronting people of faith.
