About
Damir Ibrisimovic was born in Zagreb, Croatia, and studied at the University of Zagreb, where so-called artificial languages caught his interest. Soon, he focused on their subset - computer languages. He was employed by National Bank of Croatia to design, develop and implement applications including a small query language for reporting. But decay of the nation’s spirit threatened his own so he resigned in 1985 and relocated to Sydney, Australia. After more than two years with Coopers & Lybrand, he accepted an offer from CSC (then CSA) where he was Senior Application Consultant. He is now retired, but continues with his work on his own Philosophy of Mind based upon numerous finds in Cognitive Psychology with Complex Adaptive Systems Theory in the background.
