About
Daniel Campbell Blight is a writer, curator and academic based in London with a specific interest in the history and theory of photography and sound in the arts. He has recently programmed a series of talks and lectures at Daniel Blau Gallery (2011-2012), was previously the Director of Hotshoe Gallery (2009-2011) and a curator at Fulham Palace Gallery for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (2007-2010). He has given lectures, tutorials, seminars and dissertation supervision at UK and international universities including the Royal College of Art, the University of Brighton, London College of Communication, the University of Copenhagen and the Estonian Academy of Arts. He has contributed to several exhibition catalogues and publications including 1000 Words Photography, Hotshoe International, Photomonitor, This Is Tomorrow, Self Publish, Be Happy, The University of Westminster and Galerie Daniel Blau. He holds an MPhil from the department of Communication Art and Design, Royal College of Art and an undergraduate in Sound Arts and Design from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
