Currently the research and evaluation manager for the UK's largest children's music charity. Involved in writing and commissioning research relating to all aspects of young people's music making.
Particularly interested in research around youth cultures, musical identities, and links to personal and social development or health.
Spent ten years at University of Glasgow studying Sociology and latterly (2009), completed a PhD at the Medical Research Council Social and Public Health Sciences Unit entitled 'Musical Identities and Health over the Youth-Adult Transition'. Still working on the papers from that...
