Research Assistant
About
I have previously been a research assistant for the Silchester Town Life project. This is a long running research and training excavation based at the Roman town of Silchester near Reading.
I worked on all the digital aspects of the project, concentrating on digital field recording of contexts, environmental and finds data. I was also responsible for the maintainance of the Silchester project website.
I am especially interested in digital publication and archiving of archaeological data. I have previously worked in commercial archaeology, as well with the Archaeology Data Service and Internet Archaeology before joining Reading in 2007.
