About

My research interests are broadly in the area of vertebrate paleontological research in Egypt, and more specifically are aimed at understanding mammalian evolution in Africa, with a particular emphasis on the paleobiodiversity, Functional morphology and Afro-Arabian radiations of Order Hyracoidea and its evolution . I have been involved in vertebrate paleontological fieldwork in the Late Cretaceous and Paleogene of Egypt, Kenya, and Tanzania. Member of several international; and national scientific organizations. Representative of Egypt in the visioning team of YES organization and AAWG (Association of African Women geoscientist).
