I am a psychologist and philosopher. As a psychologist I have worked in the field of ape language research. For my Ph.D. degree I analyzed the use of signs by the signing chimpanzees at the Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute of Central Washington University.
In philosophy, I have specialized in ethics, with a focus on animal ethics.
Interests include: ape language research, animal communication, animal consciousness, animal ethics.
