Academic Sales (EMEA)
About
My name is James Saintey-Howes and I have recently taken over responsibility for academic licensing of Process Systems Enterprise's gPROMS® within Europe, Middle East and Africa.
gPROMS is an advanced process modelling platform for process design, development, analysis and optimisation using high fidelity steady state and dynamic models. PSE already supplies a number of the world's leading academic institutions with gPROMS for research and teaching.
As a spin-out of Imperial College London, PSE acknowledges its academic roots by providing software licences to universities at a fraction of the commercial cost. This allows you and your students to apply the world’s leading advanced process modelling software – as used in industry around the world – to support your research.
• First principles custom modelling and flowsheeting on the same platform
• Steady state and dynamic simulation and optimisation as well as parameter estimation capabilities supplied as standard
• Leading model validation facilities, allowing estimation of multiple parameters from multiple steady-state and dynamic experiments
• Open model architecture and connectivity / interfacing options to other modelling environments, e.g. MATLAB®
• Powerful solution methods for distributed systems (1D, 2D, 3D), including population balances
• Infochem Multiflash® physical properties.
In addition to the gPROMS software platform, PSE provides the following academic services:
• Onsite training
• Assistance in setting up lecture and teaching courses using gPROMS.
If you are interested in using gPROMS for either teaching or research within your group or institution, or would like more information on its features or our terms, please feel free to contact me
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
