My undergraduate degree is Software Engineering Technology and I have a master's degree in Instructional Technology.
I am currently working as the web content manager for a community college after 2 years as the instructional designer for The School of Nursing at Southern Miss.
Some of my research interests are health care simulations/serious games for learning, mobile applications as assistive technology (focusing on Android right now), and the use of technology (multimedia, e-learning, etc) to make learning more engaging. I am also very interested in the possibilities that augmented reality may hold for education, web 2.0 tools for different learning styles, faculty training, and technology acceptance in educational settings.
