About
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Early and Medieval Irish at University College Cork in June 2011. My dissertation included an edition and translation of the early recension of Tochmarc Emire from MS Rawlinson B 512.
Aside from the edition, my thesis focuses on the roles of female warriors in Early Irish literature. This ties in to my broader research interest in women in the medieval period and depictions of women in medieval literature.
I currently teach first-year writing and English literature at two Philadelphia-area universities, and I'm looking for full-time employment.
