My research and practice revolve around a playful layering of the deceptive and dramatic arts.
I am a lecturer in Lighting Design and Production Arts, and my particular areas of interest include theatre making, illusion, lighting design, production management and technical consultancy.
My work as Director of Simply Told is concerned with theatre, magic, installation and storytelling. This work is an attempt to remove the performer from the performed, relying instead on the audience to generate their own embodied and narrative experience.
