About
Kathryn's research interests include the Pleistocene and Early Holocene of the Arabian Peninsula, the Gulf region and South West Asia as well as keeping abreast of the Palaeolithic of Europe in which her roots lie. Further research interests include the archaeology of human origins, migrations, dispersals and survival with a particular emphasis on lithic technologies and their application for the analysis of human origins, dispersals, sociality and interaction.
Kathryn has had a wealth of experience working both within the commercial and research sectors of archaeology over the last nine years. She has worked within all sectors of commercial archaeology including field supervision, finds, archives and post-excavation finds assessments and publications.
Kathryn has participated in many research projects including South Africa, United Arab Emirates, France, U.K. and most recently in India, Georgia, Oman and Qatar.
