Independent Researcher

About

I operate an archaeological consultancy in New Brunswick, a province on Canada's Atlantic coast. As an undergraduate, I attended University of Victoria, University of Calgary and University of New Brunswick. I completed graduate studies at the University of Toronto (1996).

As an itinerant professor, I taught introductory anthropology courses and the occasional seminar course at St. Mary's University, Memorial University of Newfoundland, Mount Allison University, University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University (1997-2004).

Currently unaffiliated with any university, museum or other academic institution, Academia.edu makes me feel virtually a part of it all again. It provides a great opportunity to get my unpublished work out there for others to use and to gain access to their work.

I am enjoying this phase of my career due to a steady stream of projects that are varied, unpredictable, and get me out into the backwoods of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, where I love to be.
