About
A previous Royal Literary Fund Fellow, Lisa is a UK-based poet and creative writing practitioner with research interests in ephemera, white space dynamics and juxtaposition in creative writing teaching, research and pedagogy. Working freelance, in consultancy and in a variety of academic positions Lisa specialises in: sci-art/art-science collaboration; CPD/training in healthcare and education; co-inquiry and public engagement; Medical Humanities and the intersection of creative writing with other art forms (music and photography, in particular). For 14 years creative writing has been at the heart of Lisa's practice culminating, 2 years ago, in the launch of her own creative agency, The/Poetry/Fold. With an international subscriber base and UK-network of collaborators and partners Lisa produces her own courses ("Strange Bedfellows" & "The Horse and Tomato") within The/Poetry/Fold framework, creating inspirational materials for creative writers and delivering events and mentoring services to poets and academics.
