My area is the no-person's land between mathematics and art. The flag has been flown here through the 90s and 2000s by Prof Slavik V. Jablan of the Math. Institute of Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences.
My interest is the math. of Insular art i.e the art of Irish, Pictish, Welsh, Anglo-Saxon and West Viking cultures in the early medieval period, AD 400-1200.
