I'm a developing Ph.D. student ;). My primary areas of interest are visual/popular culture, Black women’s subjectivity,afro-eroticism and the erotic. My research also extends to Black Feminist Thought, performance studies, women studies, memory studies, museum studies, trauma/pain and queer studies/theory.
I have a M.A. in Women's Studies and M.Ed.
My previous work experience has included teaching secondary social science classes, case-management, and mentoring/advising high school students.
My wonderful mentors and advisors are Drs. L. Horton-Stallings and S. Selka.
