Independent Researcher

About

Bolivian economic historian trained at the London School of Economics (MA 1980) and Columbia University (PhD 1990).  Did research on tin mining in the first half of the twentieth century during the eighties and nineties.  I transitioned to research on higher education and on the history of education in Bolivia during the twentieth century in late nineties and more recently.  Unfortunately, I have not been doing active historical research during the last decade.  I therefore want to share past research and re-start historical research on both economic history and the history of education in Bolivia by interacting with the interested communities on this site.
