Translation and Interpretation Program Coordinator

About

Marko Miletich has a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts with a Concentration in Translation from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, a Master's degree in Hispanic Civilization from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Hunter College. He has worked extensively as a professional translator and interpreter. He has developed curricula for several courses in translation and interpreting and has served as coordinator for Translation and Interpretation programs. He teaches translation and interpreting courses at Hunter College, Adelphi University and Montclair State University. In addition to those courses, he regularly teaches interpreting at several city Hospitals in New York City and has developed and conducted non-language specific interpreting seminars for the New York City Mayor’s office. Marko is currently in the final stages of a Ph.D. in Translation Studies at Binghamton University and translating a novella by Venezuelan author Issac Chocrón.

Marko Miletich is currently the coordinator of the Translation and Interpretation Program at Continuing Education at Hunter College. He also teaches regularly as an adjunct at Montclair State University and Adelphi University.
