I am an independent researcher and consultant nominally based in Perth, Western Australia, however I spend most of my time based offshore. I have previously been a visitor in the Department of Tourism at the University of Otago when Michael Hall was there. Although my time and interests focus on remote areas from a broader coastal zone management, regional studies and sustainability perspective, I am increasingly interested in tourism. I do try and do some book reviews or reviewing of journal articles but given that I am often out of email contact and in the field this does sometimes create delays!
