Morteza Bakhtiarvand received his M.A. (Master of Art) in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign ‎Language) from Research and Science Center of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, in ‎‎(2006). He received his B.A. (Bachelor of Art) in TEFL from Islamic Azad University of Dezful, ‎Khuzestan Iran, in (2004), and received his A.A (Associate of Art) in TEFL from Rasoole Akram ‎Teacher Training Center of Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, in (2001). He is certificated in Mathematics and ‎Physics from Sahle Ebne Abdullah Tostari Pre-University Center of Shushtar, Khuzestan Iran, in (1999).‎

‎2005 to date He has worked as English language Lecturer at Islamic Azad University, Dezful, ‎Khuzestan, Iran. Here He teaches various English sources and textbooks to students of English ‎Language Translation Course and Teaching English Language as a Foreign Language Course, and as a ‎university professor, He teaches General English and Pre-University English textbooks to students ‎whose major course is not English Language translation or Teaching English. He teaches ESP (English ‎for Specific Purposes) and EAP (English for Academic Purposes) to students of civil engineering and ‎agriculture and other non-English courses.  ‎

Morteza Bakhtiarvand has published his books in the field of ELT (English Language Teaching), with ‎Lambert Academic Publishing of Germany in (2011).He has Published his famous article about the ‎relationship between cultural knowledge and listening comprehension in the international RELC Journal ‎of SAGE Publication in Malaysia, And has presented papers at international conferences in UAE, ‎Pakistan, Vietnam, Turkey, China, Russia, Philippines, UK and USA.‎

‎ Morteza Bakhtiarvand was the Head of English Department of Payame Noor University, Andimeshk, ‎Khuzestan, Iran, for two years and the Head of English Department of Educational system in ‎Andimeshk and Gotvand, Khuzestan, Iran, Also He was the fonder and manager of his well-known ‎institution: Avin  Language Academy.  ‎
