Wednesday, July 20, 2011

Marek at blueprint fitness is nationally recognised as a leading authority on personal fitness, allergy testing, and nutrition.

Having appeared on sky news, and trained both world class athletes and numerous tv personalities, few other personal trainers could claim the same kind of status that Marek enjoys in the personal fitness industry.

In fact Marek is regularly featured in health and fitness magazines, Notebook magazine and Baby & Me, to name just two. As one of the leading nutritionists in the UK, Marek's expertise is highly sought after.

When Marek approached me and asked me to provide SEO Services for his site http://www.blueprintfitness.co.uk/ I was more than happy to oblige.

Computer Shop Now Recieves over 2k local hits per month

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

Who said that locally targeted keywords mean low levels of traffic? Ok I admit, this is generally the case, but when you optimise for enough of these low traffic keywords it is possible to reap a reasonable amount of traffic.

Long tail geographically targeted keywords bring traffic of the very highest quality, these are people in your area, looking for your services, and as far as targeted traffic goes, it just doesn't get any better than this. Understandably this sort of traffic can bring a far higher conversion rate than most nationally targeted keywords.

Fixitnerds is a computer shop in London whom I have worked with for some time, they are now benefiting from over 2k unique local visits per month, thats 2000 people, in their area, looking for their services each month. http://www.fixitnerds.com/

Car Leasing and Social Media

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

Nowadays the majority of SEO's realise that social media must form part of any successful SEO campaign. Google confirmed that on page evidence of social media activity is now a ranking factor which their algorithm considers when calculating a websites rankings.

Car leasing companies seem by and large, slow to adopt social media, which is understandable as its not a typical social boom industry like fashion, music, films etc, but the fact remains that there is still potential to reach new clients.

Social media marketing can be very time consuming, but the smart guys at lease4less seem to have figured out an ideal solution. By syndicating their blogs Rss feed to twitter and facebook, any new offers and special deals they blog about are automatically published to these social platforms, meaning that their news updates reach a far wider potential audience. http://www.lease4less.org.uk/

Google Pagerank Updates

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

Google exported yet another pagerank update on the 18th of this month. This is the second update from google in under thirty days which is highly unusual. the last time Google updated pagerank with this type of frequency was in 2007.

The 2007 updates which occurred with this type of frequency were carried out as part of Google's algorithm updates to penalise sites for paid links. It is entirely possible that this time around Google have adjusted Page Rank to bring into account aspects of the Panda update.

This is only a theory at this point and is entirely unconfirmed. More on the subject can be fount on my blog at http://www.highimpact-seo.co.uk/
