About
I studied Library and Information Science at the University of Barcelona. I am currently Librarian and Document Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Rome, Italy). Before that, until I was living in Barcelona (Spain) in 2007, I worked as Public Library Director at the Government of Catalonia in Barcelona (Spain).
I am currently involved in the Open Archive at FAO, it has as main objective the integration of the FAO's electronic publishing, digital information repository, and the bibliographic cataloguing requirements. I am also trying to implement within this project, standards as FRBR and that's why I am so interested in them and lately also in repositories and Open Access initiatives.
