I specialize in environmental history and environmental studies, with an emphasis on the cultural history of the American West.

My doctoral research was on the environmental history of Palm Springs, California, during the 1860s-1930s. 

Currently I am indexing, teaching, writing creative non-fiction, and selling my photography online.  I am available for indexes, book reviews, editing and paper critiques, and other related work.
