I grew up in Craughwell, Co. Galway, and received a BA (1991) and MA (1998) in archaeology from UCG/NUIG. Since 1997 I have been based in Belfast, in Northern Ireland. I currently work as a site director for Northern Archaeological Consultancy Ltd. (http://www.northarc.co.uk/). I am a former member of the Historic Monuments Council and The Joint Committee for Industrial Heritage.
