Where: This exhibition of 21 annotated mounts about Hollywood manipulation of identity was exhibited at the St. Martin`s reference library in July 2009. The exhibition ran with two talks: one about `Hollywood Branding`; the second on `Sex Appeal`. Curator Sandra SHevey is anxious to mount the exhibition elsewhere in the UK and also in EUrope. The exhibition draws upon `soundbites` from Sandra`s archive of oral Hollywood interviews with among others Alfred Hitchcock, Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and others. Sandra Shevey has written, directed, produced and narrated this threnody about four beloved ancient London street markets
Cultural Historian Sandra Shevey turns her hand from filmstars to street markets and renders an amazing account of four ancient London markets in the throes of redevelopment.
Entitled `London`s Ancient Markets: Their Fight for Survival` this 30 min colour digital documentary profiles Smithfield, Spitalfield, Covent Garden and Borough markets.
