About
I'm a specialist in the history of anti-Romani discourses in Romanian ethno-national identity. Am interested in everything related to Romania since about 1500, and also work in Hungarian and Albanian histories. I'm writing on Romanian Roma in the Holocaust, and on everyday lived experiences in socialist Albania. I lived in Romania and Albania primarily between 1997 and 2007, and since then have returned to Australia, where I teach genocide studies.
